Every once in a while, I feel the need to paint something for my soul, something straight from the heart. This is definitely one of those occasions. To some, Lemmy Kilmister is an obscure subject; to others he is considered a pioneer, a trailblazer and a legend. There is something enduring about a musician who bucks all the trends of music and fashion to point where his very reluctance to change adds to his notoriety. There are very few Heavy Metal or Hard Rock bands that don’t attribute a portion of their success to the path that Lemmy and Motorhead have laid out for them. Many consider Black Sabbath the first Heavy Metal band, and they may have an argument – but if you ask Sabbath’s front man of that time Ozzy Osbourne, he will be the first to tell you it was most likely Motorhead and their fearless leader Lemmy freakin’ Kilmister.
