I wanted to capture people’s love of wine. I started going to tastings, to observe this phenomenon and witnessed first hand just how serious this affection to wine is! One of the few tastes I had was a wine called Tulip Hill. I loved the label and the wine, so asked if I could paint it. Consequently, here is the love of wine! The deep red color, like a rose, symbolizes love; the moon creates the atmosphere of love. People love wine, so I put the two lovers emerging from the wine to represent this. This print has Tiffany 55 Karat Gold screened into it, to really give dimension to the piece.
